Short Pump is a great place to live and shop.  Set in Historic Henrico County.  Short Pump is named for the pump that was in front of Short Pump General Store and Tavern. The pump handle was shorten as the Tavern exxpanded.  While the original pump is gone, a replica is still available to view at the Short Pump Town Center
